Jakarta, June 7, 2023 - PT Modernland Realty Tbk. received the TOP Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards 2023, organized by Top Business magazine in collaboration with several CSR consultants, business associations, and CSR associations, with support from the Indonesian CSR Journalists Association.
The TOP CSR Awards 2023 carried the theme “CSR Innovation Programs for Sustainable Business Growth.” The event was held to encourage improvements in the effectiveness and quality of CSR programs implemented by companies operating in Indonesia.
The TOP CSR Awards 2023 categories for companies and organizations were classified into five star-level classes. The assessment was based on several criteria, including the alignment of CSR initiatives or CSR program support with the company’s business strategy, the level of adoption of CSR policies and programs in accordance with ISO 26000:2010 Social Responsibility, CSR governance systems, the level of CSR adoption of the CSV (Creating Shared Value) concept, and outstanding CSR innovations that can serve as examples or be recommended to other companies.
PT Modernland Realty Tbk. won the TOP CSR Awards 2023 in the #Star 4 category, where the company’s CSR program was assessed at the “VERY GOOD” level, particularly in terms of its alignment with the company’s business growth strategy. The Company’s CSR initiatives were also considered to have adopted the CSV (Creating Shared Value) concept and ISO 26000 SR, while most of its programs support a sustainable business growth strategy. Meanwhile, Dharma Mitra, Vice President Director of PT Modernland Realty Tbk., also received the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2023 award.
The award presentation was held at Dian Ballroom, Hotel Raffles Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. The award was received directly by Dharma Mitra, Vice President Director of PT Modernland Realty Tbk. “We are delighted and very grateful to once again receive the TOP CSR Awards 2023. This award will encourage us to remain enthusiastic and consistent in carrying out even better CSR programs in the future,” said Dharma Mitra.
Dharma Mitra added that PT Modernland Realty Tbk. remains committed to implementing its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs as a tangible effort to support sustainable development that is not solely focused on economic interests, but is also balanced with responsibility toward environmental and social aspects. The implementation of the Company’s TJSL programs always refers to prevailing laws and regulations as well as regulatory policies.
To ensure that the implementation of TJSL programs across all areas of the Company is well managed and runs effectively, the Company has established a Human Resources function tasked with carrying out TJSL commitments and initiatives. Structurally, the Human Resources function is under the supervision of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners.
The Company’s TJSL vision is to become a trusted and responsible company for its stakeholders. This vision is further translated into three TJSL missions, namely supporting and safeguarding the interests of internal and external stakeholders, supporting the empowerment of surrounding communities and helping to reduce social hardship, and building active relationships and communication with the wider community while also supporting environmental preservation and sustainability.

In formulating, implementing, and evaluating its TJSL programs, the Company has applied several measures, including conducting due diligence on the impacts of its decisions and activities on stakeholders, especially in relation to sustainable development, identifying key corporate social responsibility issues, reviewing all relevant regulations, designing mechanisms to recognize and formulate stakeholder expectations, developing action plans, identifying risks that may arise from failure to implement social responsibility along with mitigation and improvement plans, implementing agreed policies and programs, and conducting monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of those policies and programs.
