Jakarta, July 29, 2020 - PT Modernland Realty Tbk. received an award at the Top Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 2020 event organized by Top Business magazine. The TOP CSR 2020 award aims to strongly encourage the implementation of CSR that is more effective, strategic, and innovative, based on ISO 26000, among companies in Indonesia. This is intended to ensure that corporate CSR policies and activities are more integrated with business strategies in order to support improvements in competitiveness and company performance, as well as improvements in environmental quality and the surrounding socio-economic environment.
In the TOP CSR Awards 2020, there were three main aspects assessed, namely the aspect of compliance with ISO 26000 on Social Responsibility, the GCG aspect, and the aspect of alignment between CSR programs and the company’s strategy and business competitiveness. The award categories in the TOP CSR Awards 2020 for companies were classified into 5 Star levels.
The TOP CSR 2020 assessment involved not only CSR experts and consultants, but also business experts, consultants, and associations, including those from the capital market and financing institutions. The judging panel included KNKG (National Committee on Governance Policy), Masyarakat CSR Indonesia, LKN (NawaCita Study Institute - LKN), SKB (PT Solusi Kinerja Bisnis), Corebest (CSR Consulting & Training Institute), PAKEM (Microfinance Development Foundation), SDP (PT Sinergi Daya Prima/GCG Consultant), SGL Management (Management and Business Consultant), Top Business (Business, Economics, and Management Magazine), and Interdev (CSR Consulting & Training Institute).
PT Modernland Realty Tbk. successfully won the TOP CSR Awards 2020 in the #Star 3 Category, while William Honoris, President Director of PT Modernland Realty Tbk., received the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2020 award. The award presentation was held at the Golden Ballroom – The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/7/2020), when the new normal phase amid the Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic was being implemented by the Government with health protocols and social distancing measures for the invited guests in attendance.
The award was received directly by Dharma Mitra, Corporate Human Capital & Legal Division Head of PT Modernland Realty Tbk. In his remarks, Dharma Mitra said that going forward, PT Modernland Realty Tbk. would continue to improve the implementation of its CSR programs so that they could contribute optimally in the long term, both to society and the environment.
