The Company (Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada – Accor), in collaboration with PMI North Jakarta, also organized a blood donation activity at Candra Naya on Monday, February 22, 2016, which was attended by around 72 donors consisting of the Company’s employees, residents around Glodok Urban Village, as well as a number of hotel and restaurant guests from the surrounding area. Unfortunately, only 41 bags of blood, or 41 donors, could be accepted, while the remaining 31 people were rejected because they did not meet the required conditions (for example, being unfit, having insufficient body weight, and so on).

In addition to being a social activity that can save other people’s lives, donating blood can also provide better health quality for the donors. Moreover, this activity can build employees’ awareness to engage in CSR. For this reason, the Company has established blood donation as one of its leading CSR programs that needs to be carried out regularly and continuously.
